There is a zigzag path that leads down to the beach from the Cromer Putting Green, at the top of the cliff. There are three staging posts which are shelters, like the one you can see. I thought they might be converted pill boxes from the war. The descending wall is dark grey, so I turned it white to compliments the shelter. The plaster cast statues were in the porch of St. Gregory’s Antiques And Collectables, which is an old church. I liked them and took some photographs in situ. I looked for a landscape to fit the picture. It took several candidates, until I settled on this beach in Queensland somewhere. As for the dolls face in the square ceramic pot?……. I needed something to fill the empty space. The picture took a long time positioning and sizing the different elements. I applied a filter to soften the image.
