These wooden stanchions are on the beach at Yarmouth, at the end of the Wellington Pier. They are the remains of the base of a pier extension; they looked very sculptural, in their setting. I have montaged two views together, and placed them in Anglia Square. In the middle of the shopping precinct, is a large square, latticed cupola, made of glass and steel. What you see are the shadows created, onto the coloured paving slabs, with the refuse bin and public benches. The title occurred to me when, after a lot of experimenting, I arrived at the resulting background setting. (A1).
