The wheel is part of a cider press machine, which stands outside the Adam and Eve Pub here in Norwich. It is, with a few others, a decoration/curio which doubles as a flower stand. There is also, the interlocking gears. The backdrop is an open cast mine in Cobar NSW, and is a very big, deep hole! You can see the winding road that leads down to the present pit entrance. I have included a man into the collage (bottom centre) to give an idea of the scale. He was standing at the entrance of Cromer Pier originally…and would be shocked to see where he is now! The chain and hook was at Cromer, lying in the sand by some fishing boats. You can imagine how big it really is in relation to its new location. (A1).
