On a train journey from Dar Es Salaam to Lusaka, I saw this hill in a valley we were travelling through, somewhere in Zambia. This is one of many photos I took on that trip. As usual, I build a picture from a different and disparate assortment of objects and landscapes that I have in my library, in the computer. This image started with the wooden ‘scaffolding’ which is on the beach at Yarmouth. It is probably the remnants of a Jetty. I selected the other three objects and shuffled them around, and it soon became apparent they could represent the three crosses. The background landscape came last to cement the composition and the title. (A0).
