I came across a small church, Of The Good Shepherd, on Brenda James Close, along Thunder Lane. I liked the roofline, the cross on the wall, and the bell housing (couldn’t be described as a tower). As you can see, I have copied and mixed up that simple motif, to produce a sort of landscape. The ‘sky’ is a view looking down on a concrete spiral stairwell. This can be found at the end of the mezzanine walkway at the UEA (see Untitled No.13). After finishing the picture, it struck me how much it looks like a Christmas card! (A1).
