People Who Wear Ties

People Who Wear Ties

This is a wry satire of what I consider to be an archaic item of clothing that proports to display sartorial elegance. I suggest it is a ‘front’ to exhibit respectability and honesty. Ironically, neckties were first worn by Croatian mercenaries in the mid- seventeenth century. I’m sure you can read the list of miscreants in the pin-striped suit. What’s not so legible is the shirt label, which reads; ‘Launder Through Offshore Accounts’.  As I say, a wry and mischievous satire!
